Copyright Policy

LekkaClips respects the intellectual property rights of creators and rights-holders. This policy describes how we handle copyright infringement claims.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on LekkaClips infringes your copyright, submit a takedown request to copyright@lekkaclips.co.za. Include:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you own.
  • The URL or in-app link to the infringing content.
  • Your full name, contact details, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you can submit a counter-notice to the same address with: a description of the removed content, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was an error.

3. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that receive multiple valid copyright strikes will be permanently terminated, in accordance with international copyright law and South African legislation.

4. Music Licensing

LekkaClips maintains a music library cleared for use within the app. If you upload your own music, you must own all rights or have a valid licence.
